Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup vegan butter
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 45 apples, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup vegan caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt. Add the vegan butter and combine until crumbly.
  3. In another bowl, toss apples with caramel sauce, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
  4. Roll out the pastry dough and cut into squares.
  5. Place a spoonful of apple mixture in the center of each square.
  6. Fold and seal the edges, then place on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

  • Serve warm with extra caramel sauce for drizzling.
