Vampire Bite Halloween Cupcakes: A Spooky Delight with a Deliciously Sinister Twist

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 batch red buttercream frosting
  • 1 batch chocolate ganache
  • 12 plastic fangs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in milk and vanilla.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.
  5. Fill the cupcake liners with batter and bake for 18-20 minutes.
  6. Allow cupcakes to cool completely before decorating.
  7. Using a knife, cut a small hole in the center of each cupcake and fill with chocolate ganache.
  8. Pipe red buttercream frosting on top and place plastic fangs for a spooky effect.

Notes

  • For a more dramatic effect, add some edible glitter to the frosting.
