- 1 spaghetti squash
- 1 pound spicy Italian sausage
- 2 cups chopped broccoli
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the spaghetti squash in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds.
- Place the squash cut-side down on a baking sheet and bake for 30-40 minutes until tender.
- In a skillet, cook the spicy Italian sausage over medium heat until browned.
- Add chopped broccoli and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
- Once the squash is done, use a fork to scrape the strands into a bowl.
- Mix the squash strands with the sausage and broccoli, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Fill the squash halves with the mixture and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly.
Notes
