Salted Caramel Cheesecake

A rich and creamy salted caramel cheesecake that is perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In another bowl, beat together cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each.
  5. Blend in sour cream and half of the caramel sauce.
  6. Pour mixture over crust and bake for 50 minutes.
  7. Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  8. Top with remaining caramel sauce and sprinkle with sea salt before serving.

Notes

  • For best results, use room temperature cream cheese.
  • Chill the cheesecake overnight for enhanced flavor.
