  • 1 pound turkey bacon
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 2 cans (15 ounces each) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can (15 ounces) black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and chop into pieces.
  2. In the same pot, sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
  3. Add the chopped turkey bacon back to the pot.
  4. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, chicken broth, chili powder, cumin, and smoked paprika.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and black pepper.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • For added flavor, let the chili sit for a few hours or overnight.
  • Top with cheese or sour cream if desired.
