Greek Chicken Burgers with Tzatziki

A delicious and juicy recipe for Greek chicken burgers topped with tzatziki sauce.

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cucumber, grated
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 cup mixed greens

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, pepper, feta, egg, and breadcrumbs until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into patties.
  3. Grill the patties on medium heat for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
  4. Meanwhile, in a separate bowl, combine grated cucumber, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, and dill to make tzatziki sauce.
  5. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for a minute.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing a chicken patty on each bun, topping with tzatziki and mixed greens.

Notes

  • For added flavor, marinate the chicken patties for 30 minutes before grilling.
  • Serve with extra tzatziki on the side.
