Ghost cookies are a fun and easy Halloween treat that your whole family will love!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 pack edible black decorating gel

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually blend into the creamed mixture.
  5. Stir in white chocolate chips.
  6. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes in the preheated oven until edges are golden.
  8. Cool on wire racks before decorating with the black gel to create ghost faces.

Notes

  • For a more festive touch, use different types of chocolate for the eyes.
