  • 1 package cheese tortellini
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound Italian sausage, casing removed
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the tortellini according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  3. Add the sausage, breaking it apart with a spoon, and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in the broccoli and cook until tender, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Toss to combine and heat through.
  6. Serve warm, garnished with additional Parmesan, if desired.

  • For a vegetarian option, omit the sausage and add more vegetables.
