  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla until combined.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. In a separate small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon.
  6. Pour half the batter into a greased baking dish. Sprinkle half the cinnamon sugar mixture over the batter, then pour the remaining batter on top.
  7. Finish with the rest of the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
