CINNAMON APPLE SNICKERDOODLE COOKIES

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped apples
  • 1 tablespoon extra cinnamon for rolling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugars until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
  6. Fold in the chopped apples.
  7. Roll the dough into balls and coat with cinnamon sugar.
  8. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  9. Let cool before serving.
