Chicken Carbonara Pasta Bake

A delicious take on the classic carbonara featuring chicken and turkey bacon, this pasta bake is sure to satisfy.

  • 1 pound penne pasta
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 8 ounces turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, chicken, turkey bacon, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with remaining Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

  • For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
