- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup pistachio nuts, finely chopped
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg until well mixed.
- Spread the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
- In another bowl, beat together the cream cheese, eggs, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cake mix layer.
- Sprinkle finely chopped pistachios on top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until the center is set but still gooey.
- Allow to cool before serving.
