Blackberry Tiramisu

A delightful twist on the traditional tiramisu, this blackberry version combines rich flavors with a burst of fruity freshness.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh blackberries
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur
  • 1 package ladyfinger cookies
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, and sugar. Beat until smooth and thick.
  2. In another bowl, mix the brewed coffee and coffee liqueur.
  3. Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring not to soak.
  4. Layer dipped ladyfingers on the bottom of a dish.
  5. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  6. Add a layer of fresh blackberries on top of the mascarpone layer.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  8. Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  9. Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder and garnish with additional blackberries.

Notes

  • For a non-alcoholic version, omit the coffee liqueur.
  • Adjust sweetness according to your preference by adding more or less sugar.
