- 2 cups fresh blackberries
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
- 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur
- 1 package ladyfinger cookies
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder for dusting
- In a bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, and sugar. Beat until smooth and thick.
- In another bowl, mix the brewed coffee and coffee liqueur.
- Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring not to soak.
- Layer dipped ladyfingers on the bottom of a dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
- Add a layer of fresh blackberries on top of the mascarpone layer.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder and garnish with additional blackberries.
Notes
- For a non-alcoholic version, omit the coffee liqueur.
- Adjust sweetness according to your preference by adding more or less sugar.
