Banana Oatmeal Bars

Delicious and healthy banana oatmeal bars that are perfect for everyone!

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas.
  3. Add the oats, honey, vanilla extract, salt, and baking powder to the mashed bananas and mix well.
  4. If desired, fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Spread the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider mixing in nuts or seeds.
  • These bars can also be served with yogurt or fruit on top.
